We’re eliminating MSP Premiums because this budget is all about making things more fair for people right across BC.

We reduced MSP Premiums by 50% this January, but we’re going to eliminate them on January 1, 2020. Under the previous government, they doubled them. And we became the last province in Canada to have this most regressive kind of taxes you can have – where whether you make $50,000 or $500,000 you pay the same.

MLA Jennifer Rice is right — good riddance. We’re going to make things a lot more affordable for a lot of people.
